Right? I have Gerber Daisy on my front porch. They were really enjoying the mild temperatures so far. I was covering them at night, and all was going well. It looked as if it would be another mild winter. Now they remain covered, and I am afraid to lift the cover because I fear they are totally shriveled up and dead. Temperatures dropping now I don’t want to look under the cover at all.
🤞 that they’re ok. Yeah, we’ve dodged a lot of bullets around here so far, but I think the bill is finally coming due. I don’t really mind the cold or the snow. It’s the cleanup I can’t stand.
Thanks. I think they are probably not OK. But we can hope. it doesn’t snow here very much anymore. I don’t like cold and I don’t like snow. The cleanup is even worse. 😄
Spring is first. We will enjoy all the flowers and the new fresh grass, then the lushness of summer will stroll in. It will be hot, but at least it will not be cold. I will never be pining for the fall – I call it pre-winter. 😄 It has been obnoxiously cold this January. I am also completely over it.
Amen!

Good point, clear away, or better still, don’t come at all.

Not at all, preferably.

Yup. Same here. But not before some single digit temps. Oh, joy! 🤣

Still get our fair share around here, so I have my fill of shoveling by March. 😄

No fun that. I like the snow-although in the UK we don’t tend to get too much these days.

Nor do we, where I am, but when it arrives…meh.

Summer is coming, and we’ll be pining for the fall. But I agree with you completely. I’m over the cold.
