Winter is not too bad in Melbourne (where I am). The seasons around it are nice, but always seem too short. If you had to spend a winter anywhere in the world, Sydney would be the place, it’s not really winter but a sort of spring.
I don’t have a favorite season, but I love the time between the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Something about the light and the realization that the year is coming to an end…
Definately

Oh, yes! 100% summer, please. Spring is fine too, and fall if it’s warm, but summer is the absolute best!

Spring or Autumn, it’s Goldilocks time, not too hot, not too cold.

Spring is pre-summer (not bad). Autumn is pre-winter (I’m not a fan.)

The light definitely changes around that time of year. Heading into fall, but not quite there yet.
