How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

The show is a timeless classic as far as I’m concerned. It was well ahead of its time when it first aired. And the jokes are still funny now. The friendships on the show are realistic, and I would argue they’re what most of us would want in a friendship.

There are three universal truths: do not speak of sex, politics or religion in polite company. I know it sounds like Jane Austen wrote this statement, but she didn’t. At least I’m pretty sure she didn’t.

Do you remember life before the internet?
Don’t ask me trifling questions, Day One.

What are you good at?
I am hijacking this prompt. Another ego-based prompt? No thank you.
This poem is dedicated to all of the men out there who think the space I take up in the world is theirs in which to encroach upon.
Who do you think you are?
All of you
None of you
Were invited
I don’t want to hear any niceties
Any hello, I miss you
Stop thinking about me
Stop writing about me
Stop talking about me
Stop contacting me
Stop showing up
Stop
All of you
There is nothing for you here
I am not Mother Fucking Teresa
I am not always nice
I will show no mercy
When I sense a threat
I don’t want to know you
I want to forget

What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?
These prompts don’t inspire me to write. The only inspiration this one gave me was to think of song lyrics. To answer the question, yes, it’s attainable: I found the song lyrics without a problem.
One song is probably familiar to most people:
Didn’t We Almost Have It All
Song by Whitney Houston
Remember when we held on in the rain
The night we almost lost it
Once again we can take the night into tomorrow
Living on feelings
Touching you I feel it all againDidn’t we almost have it all
When love was all we had worth giving?
The ride with you was worth the fall my friend
Loving you makes life worth living
Didn’t we almost have it all
The night we held on till the morning
You know you’ll never love that way again
Didn’t we almost have it allThe way you used to touch me felt so fine
We kept our hearts together down the line
A moment in the soul can last forever
Comfort and keep us
Help me bring the feeling back againDidn’t we almost have it all
When love was all we had worth giving?
The ride with you was worth the fall my friend
Loving you makes life worth living
Didn’t we almost have it all
The night we held on till the morning
You know you’ll never love that way again
Didn’t we almost have it allDidn’t we have the best of times
When love was young and new?
Couldn’t we reach inside and find
The world of me and you?
We’ll never lose it again
‘Cause once you know what love is
You never let it endDidn’t we almost have it all
When love was all we had worth giving?
The ride with you was worth the fall my friend
Loving you makes life worth livingDidn’t we almost have it all
The night we held on till the morning
You know you’ll never love that way again

The next song may not be familiar to everyone:
Have It All
Song by Jason Mraz
May you have auspiciousness and causes of success
May you have the confidence to always do your best
May you take no effort in your being generous
Sharing what you can, nothing more nothing less
May you know the meaning of the word happiness
May you always lead from the beating in your chest
May you be treated like an esteemed guest
May you get to rest, may you catch your breathAnd may the best of your todays be the worst of your tomorrows
And may the road less paved be the road that you followWell here’s to the hearts that you’re gonna break
Here’s to the lives that you’re gonna change
Here’s to the infinite possible ways to love you
I want you to have it
Here’s to the good times we’re gonna have
You don’t need money, you got a free pass
Here’s to the fact that I’ll be sad without you
I want you to have it allOh! I want you to have it all
I want you to have it
I want you to have it allMay you be as fascinating as a slap bracelet
May you keep the chaos and the clutter off your desk
May you have unquestionable health and less stress
Having no possessions though immeasurable wealth
May you get a gold star on your next test
May your educated guesses always be correct
And may you win prizes shining like diamonds
May you really own it each moment to the nextAnd may the best of your todays be the worst of your tomorrows
Here’s to the fact that I’ll be sad without you
I want you to have it allOh, I want you to have it all
I want you to have it
I want you to have it allOh, I want you to have it all
All you can imagine
All, no matter what your path is
If you believe it then anything can happen
Go, go, go raise your glasses
Go, go, go you can have it all
I toast youHere’s to the hearts that you’re gonna break
Here’s to the lives that you’re gonna change
Here’s to the infinite possible ways to love you
I want you to have it
Here’s to the good times we’re gonna have
You don’t need money, you got a free pass
Here’s to the fact that I’ll be sad without you
I want you to have it allOh, I want you to have it all
I want you to have it
I want you to have it allHere’s to the good times we’re gonna have
Here’s to you always making me laugh
Here’s to the fact that I’ll be sad without you

Who would you like to talk to soon?
Soon isn’t soon enough.
I’m gonna tell them

And

You’d better

Because this is Ludacris.
And

I mean NOBODY.
So, if

Try it, Prompt Writer.

What personal belongings do you hold most dear?
Belongings are material and they can be replaced. The things that matter aren’t belongings.

Do you have any collections?
Either way, it’s Hello Kitty. It all started with a pencil case my dad brought back from one of his trips to Japan. I was about three years old. I no longer have the pencil case, and I curse when I think about the pencil case’s missing status, but I have plenty of other collectibles. If I see something HK, I have to have it.
