      1. It’s a lovely area. We traveled to Bath, Glastonbury, Winchester, Lyme Regis, etc. Hmm…I might share some of that adventure here. You’ve given me an idea, thank you!

  1. Back in fifth grade, I stumbled upon a short story related to “Pride and Prejudice,” and little did I know it would lead to my unexpected introduction to Jane Austen’s world. When my sister, the homework inspector, spotted the tale, she handed me not one but two Austen classics – “Pride and Prejudice” and the mysteriously titled “Sense and Sensibility or something.” As much as I longed to escape into the great outdoors for some playtime, my sister had other plans. I found myself reluctantly immersed in the romantic intricacies of Austen’s novels. Now, I can’t help but recall those famous lines: “It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife,” and “I wish, as well as everybody else, to be perfectly happy; but, like everybody else, it must be in my own way.” Ah, the unexpected joys of literary coercion!
