This poem is my submission for Kevin’s No Theme Thursday – 2/22/24 . Thanks for the art inspiration, Kevin.

Do you Remember
when you called me
Dame
And I called you
Sweetheart?
Those times are here
Where I find you now
It’s black-and-white
And shades of gray
Where you’ve always wanted to be
I can’t stay
I live in color
My dress is bright
Blue
Like you always were
I don’t belong
I just wanted to say
I remember
When you called me
Dame

That picture and your poem kinda gave me Casablanca vibes.
Well, except for the narrator, saying that they live in color, of course

that was intentional. Always have to throw in a little twist.😊

Awesome. I was kinda hoping someone would pick this one! Love how you captured the noir vibe both literally and figuratively. It actually took some doing to get this image created, believe it or not. It kept trying to put another person or two in the alley, and I was abundantly clear I wanted it empty except for the two figures in the foreground lol
Another killer take, Amy! Thank you! 😊

Thanks, Kevin! This one just kind of grabbed me. I really like it. Well done, Kevin. I agree with you that people in the background would’ve been distracting. Thank you for sharing it. 😊

Thank you, Amy. Very glad you like it. 🙏
Yes, no third wheel was needed in this situation, regardless of what the AI thought 😆
