Hello everyone! It’s been a while. I hope everyone is doing well. I mean to write more, but I just can’t find the words.
I love warm weather and walking barefoot in the grass. Bitter cold and snow along with all the things that come with them are not high on my list of favorites. They’re actually on another list… 💩
But even when I’m scraping snow off my car and getting plowed in by the snow plow, if I take a moment to look up, it’s marvelous. ❄️

I hear you, Amy. We’re finally getting a break here after a few days of below-zero temperatures. The forecast says we’re going to reach the 40s, so hopefully the snow will melt and we’ll get a little break before the next snow. Beautiful photo, by the way.

Thanks, Edward! Hopefully by now your snow is gone. Mine is. It’s the longest day of the year and after this, we’re heading to spring! Can’t wait.

You’re welcome, Amy. We still have a few lingering patches of snow on the ground, but it’s almost gone. If not, they’ll be gone by the 25th, when the forecast calls for temperatures in the 60s. Nice!

We are TOO hot here in Australia – ugh – I’d take your glorious snowy trees any day! I’m going to drop offline for a few weeks to have a rest – so Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful garden! Stay safe my friend, and here’s hoping 2026 is a good one for all of us! Linda xox
